Buffalo, NY

We're off on the first day of our New England vacation.

As you can see, Bean didn't want us to leave him. He wanted to come with us. We will miss them all, but not enough to not have a great time.
We were hoping our bright green luggage would make it easy at the airport, turns out to be true. We had no problem at the baggage claim.

I think I'm going to map out our trip as we go along..it will be like follow the bouncing ball. We flew from Kansas City to Cleveland on the smallest plane ever. We caught a connecting flight to the Buffalo airport, also on a tiny plane. Both airports were really nice. I like them a lot better than the KCI Airport...but I think that's a pretty easy thing to do.
On the plane it was 2 seats on one side and a single seat on the other. So I had the window seat and Jonathan had the aisle. This was on the flight to Cleveland. It was a pretty smooth flight. It took about an hour and a half. The flight from Cleveland to Buffalo was only 45 minutes or so..it was nice because I hate flying.

This is our rental car. I thought I'd take a picture of it before anything...um bad happens to it. It's a Hyundai Sonata. It's really really roomy inside. But maybe I only think that because the seats on the plane were teeny tiny.

We're staying in a Super 8 Motel, why pay more right? It's only a bed. Anyway, there's a place called Buzzy's across the street, so we gave it a try. We had a really big pizza, and buffalo wings..in Buffalo! Ha.The wings were good, we had the Honey BBQ variety. It wasn't KC BBQ but it was still ok.

YUM!

Jonathan was defeated by the delicious pizza. We both left really full.
Tomorrow we're off to Niagara Falls. We're really looking forward to it. Then onward to Syracuse.
