It's Fall Y'all

Team Rodgers has been out and about enjoying this unusually warm Fall.

We went to Louisburg Cider Mill for CiderFest.

They had pony rides, so Aurora loved it!

We took a hay ride with Grammy.

Pumpkin Love!

The girls got their driver licenses.  Just kidding.  It's an enormous powerwheels.  Aurora won't really drive it.  But the little girl LOVE it.  They can't wait until they can drive it better.

This is a glimpse of what it will look like 15 years from now.

We visited Cedar Cove Big Cat Sanctuary.  I had no idea it existed, but it's worth a visit.

They take in big cats that were bought at pets or saved from circus shows or something. Most of the cats have been declawed or had their teeth filed down and would not be suitable for rehabilitation.

Aurora liked the tigers.

We even had to take a little one home with us.

The little girls got their art on.  The dumbest idea I've ever had was giving two 1 year olds markers.

We went to Fritz's where they bring your food on a train. It was a huge hit with everyone.

Maybe Aurora will be a train conductor.

We had a birthday party in the neighborhood for a friend, which means we mobilize the wagon train..It's a big hit with the whole crew.  They love wagon rides. And with each girl in her own pod, there's no hitting or touching or sharing of any kind.  A win win for all.

Our friends have a great dress up collection.

Aurora loves the swing set they have in their yard.

We also visited the Museum at Prairiefire.  The little girls are finally big enough to play a little bit in the Discovery Room.

I hope they grow up to be scientists some day.

Or maybe architects..

The current exhibit is Extreme Animals. It's worth a visit as well.

I've got some more fun things to post.  Halloween just passed, and we had the absolute best costume.. Stay tuned to check it out.

Alice and Arden are 1 Year Old!

My how time flies!  It doesn't seem possible that these ladies are one!

They're so big!

Alice is so silly, she loves to snuggle and cuddle super soft toys.

Arden is so fun. She's almost got the walking thing figured out.

We've spent a little time at the pool.

Arden likes it more than Alice.

Aurora loves the pool!

They climb on everything!

Arden was pretty pleased with herself, but she couldn't figure out how to make it go forward.

We went to Powell Gardens. It was really neat. Aurora loved it, the little girls slept most of the time.

Stay tuned for a few photos from their first birthday party!

Alice and Arden are 11 Months Old!

We're closing in on our first year.  The girls have come a long way, and it's getting exciting for sure.

We're going to have trouble sharing the chair before too long.

They LOVE each other.

Alice is so smiley!

Arden is pretty smiley too.

Arden has a drinking problem.

So does Alice.

Dear Target, you get me and I love you!  This basket is the most wonderful thing on earth.  I can't wait to use it more.  PS--if you have 1 kid and I see you in this basket, don't be surprised if your tires are flat.

4th of July was a lot of fun.  We went to my mom's house for food and a few fireworks.

The girls loved playing picnic outside.

We had a birthday party for a friend so we fired up the wagon train.  It was the littles first time riding in a wagon, it was a big hit!

Twinning winning!

They are so much fun.  We are on the verge of walking for Arden.  Alice is starting to be interested too.  We have a big 1st birthday bash planned, so stay tuned for that!

Jessica is 29 again!

Wow, time flies.
I enjoyed being 29 so much last year, I thought I'd do it again this year.
Since my birthday is a little bit of a big deal every year, but more so this year, my loving husband planned a wonderful weekend.
Let's see the highlights!

We had breakfast and spent the morning at Top Golf.

We both suck at golf.

A little bit of day drinking helped.

This was Jon's best shot.

The most awesome thing you will ever do...Indoor Skydiving!

It was SO MUCH FUN! I can't wait to do it again.

My sister KT went with us.

I'm a winner.  Adjusting my goggles.

After a thrilling afternoon, we stayed at The Ambassador Hotel downtown.

It was a really nice room.
We had dinner at my favorite Chinese place, Kin Lin!

Saturday morning we went on a tour of the Shatto Dairy farm.  I love Shatto milk..if you've tried it, you know what I'm talking about!

This is the cutest baby cow I've ever seen.

My mom is wonderful and watched the girls for us so we could have a little fun.  She surprised me by making my favorite cake for when we got back.  Aurora helped her decorate it.  I'm the horse on the cake, there are 3 baby horses and a daddy horse bringing up the rear.

I think 29 this year will be even better than last year!
