First Family Trip to Wichita Part 3

Our 3rd and final day in Wichita.

We mastered the continental breakfast.

We headed to Tanganyika Wildlife Park.  It's a pretty great place.  It's small and you can get really close to the animals.  There are several you can feed.

Aurora is a giraffe feeding master.

We watched to zookeeper feed the penguins.  Apparently you can swim with them.

Aurora fed bunnies.

And guinea pigs.

The babies we able to get out and about.  The liked the pigs.

You can pet kangaroos! This was probably my favorite.  I expected them to feel like horses or cows or something, but they were velvety soft!

The little girls loved the kangaroos!

They both weren't afraid at all!

Aurora's favorite was the lorikeets.

We spent a very long time with the lorikeets.

There was a really nice water feature in the middle of the park .

Aurora fed the giraffes several times.

They have an animal nursery.  Baby penguins!

We watched the zookeeper feeding a baby jaguar.  It looks like a pretty sweet job.

Stuffed animals for everyone!

We finally made it home. Alice likes to relax when she travels and removes her shoes every time she gets in the car.

We've got big plans for the rest of the summer.
Stay tuned.
