Aurora is 9 Months Old!

Woah! 9 months has been the most fun yet! I can't believe we're on the home stretch to 1 year old...she is getting SO BIG!

She learns something new every single day.  She's pretty smart if I do say so myself..

It's getting harder to take her picture..she's a busy lady.

We've started new school.  She now goes to Lutheran School...my new job doesn't have on site day care so we had to find a new provider.  She is loving it so far..and they love her.  I'm glad, because old school was pretty great, it's some big shoes to fill, but new school is doing a great job.

Oh yeah, we're pulling up on everything now...everything.  

We can open drawers too.  

All that standing and drawer pulling is exhausting work.  

I know the next month will be even better...perhaps we'll be walking?  Who knows..

Aurora's 9 Month Photo Shoot

Yikes!  She's not quite 9 months yet, but we had Aurora's professional photo shoot yesterday.  It went really well, better than any of the others so far.  She was in a great mood, Jeff did a great job, we had a great time! I'm serious, if you need a photographer, you need The Mullikin Studio!  

Next week we'll recap what 9 months has been like, so for now, we'll all just admire the cuteness!

Aurora is 8 Months Old!

Woah! 8 months has gotten away from me!  Team Rodgers is making some big big changes, and life is a little crazy!  I'm getting a new job that I start in a couple weeks and that means Aurora will be going to a new school!  We've been caught up the the preparations involved in that..but 8 months didn't pass without us noticing.  Here's what went down last month.  The best month so far!

She loves the kiddie pool! It's like bath time with more room.

We went to the zoo with Tia KT.  We had a super awesome day!

Aurora got the coolest thing ever!  A coke can with her name on it!  She doesn't appreciate it now, but some day I hope she thinks it's as cool at I do.  My uncle is the best.  #greatESTuncle

She can get up on her knees, but she hasn't figured out what to do from there.  It's not slowing her down any, she gets around just fine on her belly. 

She's started smiling for pictures!  I don't want to get my hopes up, but maybe we'll get some cute ones for her 9 month pictures  those are just around the corner!  Stay tuned!
