I had a really good time working on the Friday Sketch from Prairie Paper & Ink.
I've definitely been thinking Spring. I was glad to make a card, since I've been working on scrap book pages lately..and something else that will be coming your way shortly.
Here's the original sketch.
And here's my take on it.
The stamp is from All That Scraps. The paper is from JoAnn's. I used my Cuttlebug on the blue piece.
Ok, I know the yellow-ness is terrible..but I'm dreaming of the light box I want to build..so hopefully soon it will get better. I colored here with Copics and went over her jacket and boots with a glaze pen so it sort of looks like rubber.
Here's the inside. The sentiments came with a very large Spring set over at All That Scraps.
I'm going to try to keep up with some more posts, but our moving day is getting closer and closer..so we find ourselves way too busy most of the time. But my new scrap studio is going to be totally worth it.

Wild Card Wednesday-Fun Color Challenge
Sorry it's been so long. I simply have not had enough time to scrap..and this makes me sad. I managed to find a little time tonight and last night. I wanted to participate in a challenge, because it's been so long since I have.
So I chose the Club Anya & Friends challenge blog. It happened to be Wild Card Wednesday, and this week it's a color challenge.
This is the original photo for the color challenge. I really chose to pick up on the pillow, with the green, blue and orange..and I like pink, so I used pink too. The way I ended up cutting my patterned paper hid most of the orange, but you get the idea.
I used a stamp from the Miss Anya Rain, Snow, Shine set..(it's the Shine in case you're falling behind). I colored her with Copics on CC Quality cardstock from ATS. I used my Cuttlebug for the ovals.
Here's a side view, I can't wait for our move because I'm going to build a light box and see if that doesn't help make my photos look better.
Here's the inside, it looks very similar to the outside..I find it to be easier that way.
Mother's Day is approaching quickly, I have to work that weekend, but I've already got my cards made..so look for those in a blog post near you.

Fluffles Easter Cards
Easter is almost here, and I've mailed out my cards..so here they are.
I really love this Fluffles image. I colored him with Copics and used SU! paper. The Happy Easter sentiment is from Hobby Lobby. I used my Cuttlebug for the embossing. And a really cute border punch across the bottom.
Hopefully you can see the border better here.
Here's a close-up of the image. He looks like my Bean..but probably doesn't cause as much trouble.
Here's my whole fleet of Easter cards. They all came together really easily once I had the images colored..that took a lot longer than I thought it would.
This is on the inside of some of them..I forgot to take a picture of the other sentiment..but it said something to the effect of having a blessed Easter..
I'm looking forward to Easter. We're planning on going to my mom's for Easter brunch..yum!
