Alice and Arden are 9 Months Old!

Time flies when you're having fun.. And we are definitely having fun.
The girls just had their 9 month appointment, and of course, they are doing wonderfully.
Here are the STATS
Alice
Weight: 17lbs 14oz (50th percentile)
Length: 26.8 inches (30th percentile)
Head circumference: 18.2 inches (90th percentile)

Arden
Weight: 20lb 7oz (75th percentile)
Length: 27.5 inches (50th percentile)
Head circumference: 17.8 inches (75th percentile)

I'm not sure the noggin sizes are right, they were struggling, so I imagine they aren't as accurate as they could be.  But either way, the girls are growing up so much!

They're both pretty happy ladies most of the time.

Alice is so sweet.  Her grin is still toothless, but we have hopes that she'll get some teeth soon.

She is a crawling master, and she's starting to pull up on things.  Her favorite thing to do is to scream as loud as she can, usually at dinner time.

Arden is turning into quite a little chatter pants.  She's making all sorts of noises. She loves to stand up and will even take some steps if you hold her up.  She'll be walking soon, which is good, because her crawl is a little pathetic.  She just drags herself along the floor.

Aurora is still crazy about them.  She's a wonderful big sister.  And such a big girl herself.  She's potty trained! A victory for mom and dad for sure!

Jon's cousin in D.C. just had twin girls and they were nice enough to send our girls these KC onesies to support our hometown Royals.  His cousin is a big sports fan. 

The weather has been so nice, we've been playing outside.  The girls love the fresh air.

We went to the zoo for Mother's Day.  It was a good time.

Aurora loves to go to the zoo.

These ladies are definitely full of themselves.

Stay tuned, summer is here and we've all got bikini bodies.  We plan to lounge by the pool all summer long.

Alice and Arden are 8 Months Old!

It's a little late, but we've been busy busy busy.

The Ladies are 8 months old! And getting so big!

Alice is still my smiley girl, but she's turning into a little bit of a squeaky wheel, she's figuring out that she sometimes gets the short end of the stick.

Arden is happier all the time.  She loves to stand and talk! Her dimples make me smile every day!

We got bath seats!  It's been a complete game changer.  Aurora loves sharing the bath with the little girls, and the little girls loves anything Aurora does.

Easter came and went.  We tried our hand at coloring eggs.  Aurora loved it.

We were dressed to impress at our school Easter Egg hunt.

Aurora had a great time!

The littles can sit up all by themselves now.  It's been really nice for mom and dad.  Alice still prefers to roll around on the ground, she's getting REALLY close to crawling.

We had a zoo trip this month. Arden has had 2 ear infections :-\ but she's handling them like a champ. We have a doctors visit at the end of the month, so we'll see where everything is then.

Arden hasn't figured out how to get her belly up off the ground.  I'm guessing she'll be like Aurora and skip crawling all together and go straight to walking.  She wants to sooo bad.

Alice and Arden are 7 Months Old!

Time flies when you're having fun!

The ladies are 7 months old and getting to be more and more fun.

They're getting more and more personality.

Alice is pretty easy going most of the time. But, she's figured out if she whines a little bit, it gets her more stuff. Arden has perfected this skill.

Arden likes things her way, but can still be all smiles when she wants.  Her dimples are my favorite..I'd do pretty much anything for the dimples.

We had our first taste of food.

Alice was a little unsure at first, but now they both like a variety of food.

We have a buggy bench, so we are virtually unstoppable. We've been to the grocery store a few times. We are definitely a show stopper. Everyone wants to take a look. 

We had a great St Patrick's day. These ladies had a blast at the Martin City parade. 

 

Aurora had a good time too. 

We've been enjoying this nice weather and we're looking forward to more warm weather. Our bathing suits are ready to go!!

Alice and Arden 6 Month Photo Shoot 3-7-16

Time flies.
The girls had their 6 month professional photo shoot this week.  Marissa did a wonderful job!  We went to the Museum at Prairie Fire.  What a creative choice!  I love that building so much, it's just beautiful.  If you've never been, it's definitely worth a visit.

We are a party of 5. It was crazy windy, the temperature wasn't too bad, but the wind was out of control. 

Alice is such a sweet girl.

Arden had a good time, she definitely turned it on for the camera...finally!

Oh, only a party of 4...the big one didn't want to play the game.  She threw a fit nearly the entire time.

Arden really is a happy girl.  I love these yoga suits.

We managed to get everyone all together at the very end. 

This.  This sums up her attitude all day.  It ended up being a really beautiful shot.  Of course, all I wanted was a nice photo of all 3 of my girls together...nope. Not this time. It's a shame, because seriously, how cute are those lace outfits?!

 

7 months is approaching quickly.  The weather is getting nicer, so we're out and about town.  Stay tuned.

Alice and Arden are 6 Months Old!

You all know what time it is!

Twin time!  These ladies are 6 months old! I can hardly believe it!  We've survived half of the first year..it's been a wild ride. 

We were again met with challenges at picture time. 

I got a nice one of Alice. 

And an ok one of Arden. 

We visited GG.  She is a baby whisperer and the girls love her!  GG is the girls' granddad's mom..follow?  Good. She is an absolutely wonderful lady.  I can't express the happiness I felt from seeing the joy and love she felt for my babies. 

Arden doesn't like anybody, but she didn't make a peep for GG.  

We have smiles more and more often. 

And princess time. We have lots of that. 

The girls have had a layer of glitter on them for weeks. 

Aurora asked to hold Alice. It was so sweet. She's such a sweet sister. She's crazy about the babies. She can finally tell them apart, she almost always gets it right these days. She kisses them goodnight every night.  I hope their closeness continues, and maybe we'll get to skip the "hitting each other" phase..but probably not.

Tummy time is serious business.  They've started pushing themselves backwards.. Soon it will be forwards!

Uncle Matt is everyone's favorite. 

It's been so nice we've been able to go for a few walks.  We can't wait for spring!

They love touching each other. They reach for each other all the time.

Aurora wanted to take a picture with the babies. Alice was the only happy one.  Aurora is holding her hand...I'm serious, this kid is the sweetest thing!
