Alice and Arden are 1 Year Old!

My how time flies!  It doesn't seem possible that these ladies are one!

They're so big!

Alice is so silly, she loves to snuggle and cuddle super soft toys. 

Arden is so fun. She's almost got the walking thing figured out. 

We've spent a little time at the pool. 

Arden likes it more than Alice. 

Aurora loves the pool!

They climb on everything!  

Arden was pretty pleased with herself, but she couldn't figure out how to make it go forward. 

We went to Powell Gardens. It was really neat. Aurora loved it, the little girls slept most of the time.

Alice and Arden are 11 Months Old!

We're closing in on our first year.  The girls have come a long way, and it's getting exciting for sure.

We're going to have trouble sharing the chair before too long.

They LOVE each other.

Arden has a drinking problem. 

So does Alice. 

Dear Target, you get me and I love you!  This basket is the most wonderful thing on earth.  I can't wait to use it more.  PS--if you have 1 kid and I see you in this basket, don't be surprised if your tires are flat. 

4th of July was a lot of fun.  We went to my mom's house for food and a few fireworks. 

The girls loved playing picnic outside. 

We had a birthday party for a friend so we fired up the wagon train.  It was the littles first time riding in a wagon, it was a big hit!

They are so much fun.  We are on the verge of walking for Arden.  Alice is starting to be interested too.  We have a big 1st birthday bash planned, so stay tuned for that!

Alice and Arden are 10 Months Old!

Officially in double digits. They are turning into double trouble.  Both girls are more mobile every day. We're about to really have our hands full. 

Arden loves clapping. 

Alice is as sweet as ever. 

Worn out at the pool. To be fair, this was right before we found out she had an ear infection. 

Arden pulls up on everything. It won't be long before Alice follows suit. 

Aurora is rocking the big sister thing. 

We love visiting Deanna Rose. 

We get out and about in all our cuteness. 

Alice is happy all the time. 

And sometimes we crash.. Poor Arden. 

I guess it runs in the family. 

We're quickly approaching the girls first birthday. I can hardly believe it. They're going to change a lot in the next few months.

I can't believe the ladies are 9 months old already!! They are getting so big and doing so much.  I'm glad we were able to capture some really great photos of them at the park this week.  Marissa did a wonderful job.

Alice has started "waving", which looks like she's revving up her motorcycle when she does it.

We are definitely a party of 5.  It's a lot to handle, but more often than not, it's worth it.

That's a great chair right?  The baby is cute too..

Arden had some difficult moments, but when she's happy, her smile lights up everything around her..I'm hoping to capture it in all its glory someday.

 

Aurora did amazing!  She listened to everything Marissa said, and looked pretty cute while doing it.

Sometimes being a twin is hard.

Alice and Arden are 9 Months Old!

Time flies when you're having fun.. And we are definitely having fun.
The girls just had their 9 month appointment, and of course, they are doing wonderfully.
Here are the STATS
Alice
Weight: 17lbs 14oz (50th percentile)
Length: 26.8 inches (30th percentile)
Head circumference: 18.2 inches (90th percentile)

Arden
Weight: 20lb 7oz (75th percentile)
Length: 27.5 inches (50th percentile)
Head circumference: 17.8 inches (75th percentile)

I'm not sure the noggin sizes are right, they were struggling, so I imagine they aren't as accurate as they could be.  But either way, the girls are growing up so much!

They're both pretty happy ladies most of the time.

Alice is so sweet.  Her grin is still toothless, but we have hopes that she'll get some teeth soon.

She is a crawling master, and she's starting to pull up on things.  Her favorite thing to do is to scream as loud as she can, usually at dinner time.

Arden is turning into quite a little chatter pants.  She's making all sorts of noises. She loves to stand up and will even take some steps if you hold her up.  She'll be walking soon, which is good, because her crawl is a little pathetic.  She just drags herself along the floor.

Aurora is still crazy about them.  She's a wonderful big sister.  And such a big girl herself.  She's potty trained! A victory for mom and dad for sure!

Jon's cousin in D.C. just had twin girls and they were nice enough to send our girls these KC onesies to support our hometown Royals.  His cousin is a big sports fan. 

The weather has been so nice, we've been playing outside.  The girls love the fresh air.

We went to the zoo for Mother's Day.  It was a good time.

Aurora loves to go to the zoo.

These ladies are definitely full of themselves.
