Alice and Arden are 6 Months Old!

You all know what time it is!
Twin time!  These ladies are 6 months old! I can hardly believe it!  We've survived half of the first year..it's been a wild ride.

We were again met with challenges at picture time.

I got a nice one of Alice.

And an ok one of Arden.

We visited GG.  She is a baby whisperer and the girls love her!  GG is the girls' granddad's mom..follow?  Good. She is an absolutely wonderful lady.  I can't express the happiness I felt from seeing the joy and love she felt for my babies.

Arden doesn't like anybody, but she didn't make a peep for GG.

We have smiles more and more often.

And princess time. We have lots of that.

The girls have had a layer of glitter on them for weeks.

Aurora asked to hold Alice. It was so sweet. She's such a sweet sister. She's crazy about the babies. She can finally tell them apart, she almost always gets it right these days. She kisses them goodnight every night.  I hope their closeness continues, and maybe we'll get to skip the "hitting each other" phase..but probably not.

Tummy time is serious business.  They've started pushing themselves backwards.. Soon it will be forwards!

Uncle Matt is everyone's favorite.

It's been so nice we've been able to go for a few walks.  We can't wait for spring!

They love touching each other. They reach for each other all the time.

More tummy time!

Aurora wanted to take a picture with the babies. Alice was the only happy one.  Aurora is holding her hand...I'm serious, this kid is the sweetest thing!

Stay tuned, we've got professional 6 month photos coming up, I'm thinking they're going to be adorable.  Spring is nearly here, and St. Patrick's day is close, the next month is going to be a good one.

Anatomical Valentine's Day Card

What's this? A card?  Yes, I managed to find a little time to create something, besides babies.
My brother asked me to make him something for his girlfriend.  He's pre-med, and she's in med school already, so an anatomically correct heart seemed appropriate.

It's pretty simple.  My craft room isn't completely unpacked yet.  (it's been over a year, I know!)
I pressed the white paper with my Cuttlebug to give it the dot texture.  And it's got sparklies, I love sparklies!

The heart, I stamped and embossed it with clear powder.  So it's a little bit shiny, and raised up.

The inside I stamped Happy Valentine's Day, per my brother's request.
I guess he's happy with it.  I haven't heard, but I look forward to finding out how she liked it.
Stay tuned for more.. the ladies are nearly 6 months old!

Alice and Arden are 5 Months Old!

Time flies when you're having fun!
The girls are growing up way too fast!
I promised some stats last time.  We had their 4 month appointment on January 8th, so really 4.5 months.
Here's the official numbers

Alice
Length: 26 inches (90%)
Weight: 13lbs 2oz  (25%)
Head circumference: 16.5 inches (75%)

Arden
Length: 25 inches (50%)
Weight: 14lbs 13oz (50%)
Head circumference: 17 inches (90%)

They're getting big!
Twin life is pretty cool, but it's not all sunshine and daisies.  Sometimes at picture time, everyone is pissed off.

I managed to get a not crying one of Alice.

Arden started off happy.

We got some really great clothes from Portland.  The girls have an Aunt, Uncle and cousin that live there.  We'd love to visit some day.

This was suppose to be adorable.  No sunshine or daisies this day either.

We do get a fair amount of smiles.  We've been working on tummy time a lot. Alice is a rolling machine.

Arden is pretty good a rolling too.

Everyone had a great Christmas.

Alice and Great Uncle Marty.

Arden and cousin Sarah.

Arden with Aunt Amy and cousin Brooklyn.  They were crazy about each other.

Grandpa, Brooklyn and Arden.

Uncle Matt and Alice.

We rock the twin thing.

We got lots if great clothes for Christmas.

Story time is a group favorite.

We're learning to sit up.

And still owning tummy time.

Alice is also working on holding her own bottle.

Stay tuned for sure, these girls are doing amazing things every day!

Alice and Arden are 4 Months Old!

Time is flying!  This whole twin thing is getting easier, I think.
The ladies are growing up so much.  We still have a couple weeks until our doctor appointment, then I'll have some official stats.  But for now, they're both over 12 pounds.

Alice is still so smiley!

Arden is turning into a pretty happy girl.  Her fat little face and dimples are the cutest!

Sometimes we match.  They love hanging out in the Bumbos.  They "talk" to each other when you face them toward each other.  I'm so excited to see their "twin thing" develop as they get older.

We do tummy time a lot!

Alice has come a long way.  She prefers to sleep on her belly.  She's also a thumb sucker.
They can both roll from their backs to their bellies, and back again,  they love being a little bit mobile.

They got a sweet new ride as an early Christmas present.  Now we can go anywhere!  It's been wonderful!

It wouldn't be Christmas time without a visit to Santa.  Everyone did amazing!

The littles have been very good this year.

We also saw the Fairy Princess.  She's the best! Aurora was in awe the whole time.  It's definitely going to be a tradition every year.

I'm so glad I had the foresight to get both of these fox onesies for Aurora..it's really paying off.

Twin 1 and Twin 2!

They made these adorable frames at school!

Christmas Angels!

Christmas is only a few days away.  And I'm told that the Rodgers ladies are all on the nice list.
Stay tuned for updates on our holiday adventures.

Alice and Arden's 3 Month Photo Shoot

Well.. I meant to get to this the other day, but obviously that didn't happen.
The ladies had their 3 month session at the end of November. It must be a 3 month thing.. It didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped.  We still got some good ones though!
Here are a few of my favorites!

This smile!

As you might imagine, no smiles from this one.

This pretty much sums up the morning.  Aurora was being difficult.

We got some really cute ones of just her.

And a lot of this...

I had the heavier baby..

Party of 5

Stay tuned, the ladies are almost 4 months old. And Aurora will be participating in her first Christmas pageant.
